Here you find more information about the privacy policy of BlueHealth Innovation Center.

BlueHealth Innovation Center vzw (BHIC vzw), located at C-Mine 12, 3600 Genk, with company number BE0842.097.877, processes personal data in accordance with this privacy statement. 1. PROCESSING PURPOSES

 

BHIC vzw collects and processes the personal data of customers for customer and order management (including customer administration, follow-up of orders, invoicing, follow-up of solvency).

In addition, BHIC vzw also collects a list of contact persons who choose to receive the newsletter themselves.

BHIC vzw also keeps a list of companies that are coached by one of the coaches for the follow-up of this guidance.

Finally, event registrations are also used for the correct assessment and organization of events of all kinds.

2. LEGAL BASIS OF THE PROCESSING

Personal data are processed on the basis of article 6.1. (a) consent, (b) (necessary for the execution of an agreement), (c) (necessary to comply with a legal obligation) and / or (f) (necessary for the representation of our legitimate interest to undertake) of the General Data Protection Regulation.

Insofar as the processing of your personal data takes place on the basis of Article 6.1. a) (permission), such as your registration for our newsletter, you always have the right to withdraw the consent given.
 

 

3. TRANSFER TO THIRD PARTIES

We will not pass your details to third parties under any circumstances, unless the law requires otherwise. Event registrations are sometimes shared with organizers for printing badges and registering attendees. Since EIT Health is our registration partner in this event, event registration details will be shared with them in order for Hack4Healath participants to have access to the EIT Health Alumni network.

4. HOW LONG DO WE STORE YOUR DATA

​

The personal data processed for customer management will be retained for the period necessary to comply with legal requirements (including in the field of accounting).

The personal data that required your consent (such as the registration for the newsletter) will be kept for a period of 10 years.

However, you have the right to unsubscribe at any time. At the bottom of each newsletter there is a link to unsubscribe.

Event registrations are kept for a period of 10 years for the purpose of anonymised reporting.

5. RIGHT OF INSPECTION, IMPROVEMENT, DELETION, LIMITATION, OBJECTION AND TRANSFERABILITY OF PERSONAL DATA

You have the right to inspect your personal data at all times and can (have them) correct them if they are incorrect or incomplete, have them removed, have their processing restricted and object to the processing of personal data on the basis of Article 6.1 ( (f) including profiling on the basis of those provisions.

You also have the right to obtain a copy (in a structured, current and machine-readable form) of your personal data and to have the personal data forwarded to another company.

In order to exercise the above rights, you are asked to:

  • to adjust the settings of your registration yourself if available; and / or

6. COMPLAINT
